摘要

In this contribution, we have used a distance sensor connected to a Micro-Lab board to study the oscillatory motion of a simple, heavy pendulum. This research aims to determine the parameters of the oscillatory motion, such as amplitude, period and frequency, using the distance data obtained by the distance sensor. This work presents the sensor’s electrical component and board. The experimental results correspond well to the expected theoretical results. This demonstrates the accuracy of the distance sensor and the effectiveness of the Mi-cro-Lab board in the study of oscillatory motion. The present study can be used in the fields of engineering and physics due to its applicability. In addition, the method can be applied to the analysis of oscillatory systems, thus providing a comprehensive and efficient method for studying a wide range of dynamic processes. Finally, this research offers accurate, rapid and reliable results for determining the type of pendulum motion.
