摘要

A study is focused on the SMART numerical simulation of natural convection in an enclosed cavity laden with a Nanofluid (water Al2O3) and (water CuO). This work examines the ratio aspect on natural convection heat transfer with Al2O3/CuO. On the other hand, we studied the impact of the Rayleigh number which varies from Ra = 103 to Ra = 106 on the thermal aspect. The results were compared with those of De Vahl Davis [10], which proved to be in good agreement. It is obtained that the heat transfer performance by laminar natural convection is influenced by various values of the aspect ratio and becomes important in this case W/H = 0.5. Numerical predictions also display the critical improvement for Nanofluids over pure fluids. So when we add nanoparticles to a fluid, heat transfer is enhanced. Furthermore, it was shown that using Nanofluid (Al2O3) improved heat transfer greater than utilizing CuO, indicating that the kind of Nanofluid is a crucial component of the improvement.
