State Space Representation of Discrete-Time Systems

In this chapter, the state-space representation of discrete-time systems is presented. Methods of conversion from continuous-time to discrete-time state space and from transfer functions to state space are covered. Concepts of controllability and observability of discrete-time state-space systems are discussed. Examples are presented along with Matlab codes. Exercise problems are provided to enhance understanding and consolidate problem-solving skills.
