摘要

The paper examines the methods and tools of electronic learning systems for the implementation of problem-based modular learning. It analyzes the types of educational material and its characteristics, as well as digital tools of e-learning systems. We propose a concept of digital problem-based modular learning and scrutinize the benefits from its integration into the digital socio-educational environment. The article gives recommendations on effective digitalization of engineering education according to Education 5.0 requirements. The authors formulate the key needs of modern society that entail the transformation of traditional forms of learning and identify the factors affecting the development of a new-generation information system within the framework of the Education 5.0 paradigm. The research findings were utilized to create an online network learning system that improves the traditional forms of training, enhances performance of students and stimulates their interest. The proposed concept was tested using the case of the Instrument Engineering digital training course. In conclusion, a methodology for integrating adapted educational material into the digital learning environment is provided.
