EIA Procedure—Baseline Study
摘要
Baseline study is a vital component of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), focusing on gathering information on the current environmental conditions at a project site. The baseline study aims to set the initial conditions that will serve as a reference point for evaluating the potential effects of the project. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) defines a baseline study as an evaluation of the current environmental conditions at the planned project location and sometimes in the nearby area.
