摘要

We here report on the current development of an intelligent assistant supporting health professionals in the task of preparing pillboxes. This task is challenging for different reasons: it requires to search medications in the hospital’s physical warehouse, and when pills are unavailable to search online resources for equivalents, to then search again the warehouse for availability of those. We therefore propose to support this process through an assistant residing on a holographic device that can be wore during practices. In this way, nurse can rely on an on-line holographic layer supporting the task showing availability of drugs and online information in a comfortable way. In addition, we plan to furnish this agent with features for explainability through an Abstract Argumentation Framework. We here introduce the argumentative framework and provide an initial formulation for deciding which drugs are equivalent and where they are in the warehouse. In the future we plan to extend the framework with more types of argumentative structures such as when suggesting drugs based on online resources.
