Non-state Actors and Technological Revolution: Organized Crime and International Terrorism
摘要
This chapter analysed how emerging technologies present new avenues for criminals and terrorists to inflict harm and disrupt social order and explore ways and tools to cope with this situation. In this regard, this chapter is divided into two main parts. The first presents in detail the impact that technology is having on the various criminal and terrorist organizations, with special emphasis on the impact that cyberspace has had on these types of activities. Subsequently, in the second part, we will analyse what is being done by law enforcement agencies to deal with this situation with a European approach and with the use of different examples.
