International Cooperation, Multilateralism, and Civil Society in the Face of the Technological Revolution 4.0
摘要
Nuño-Santana offers a vision on how the technological revolution 4.0 brings new opportunities and challenges for International Cooperation, including the potential to work better with big data, improving the lives of populations in less developed countries and increasing knowledge to support the participation of civil society in governance processes and public debates. The chapter also draws attention to the discourses and positioning of organizations such as the European Union, the OECD, or the G7, including the analysis of a reality to be addressed and regulated. From a broad perspective, Nuño-Santana explores some successful experiences of using artificial intelligence in the field by humanitarian actors saving thousands of lives.
