The unprecedented increase of activity in the digital domain, which was significantly developed during the pandemic, made clear that the new environment should be carefully regulated. In the advent of the global health crisis, several policy and regulatory initiatives are adopted by the EU in relation to the evolution of cloud computing as means of innovation, economic growth, and digital sovereignty.
