Heat Kernel Asymptotics for the Neumann Problem

This chapter is devoted to the study of asymptotic expansions of the compensating operators and terms and heat Green kernels for the Neumann case (Theorems 22.6 and 22.7). In the Neumann case, we have the short time trace formula (22.29) for the heat Green operator \(e^{-t\,P_{N}}\) with Neumann condition (Theorem 22.7). This chapter ends with a list of Neumann heat kernels \(W_{N}(t)\) and \(V_{N}(t)\) (see Sect. 22.3).
