Immunomodulators and Biologics for Follicular and Neutrophilic Cutaneous Disorders
摘要
There are several different immunomodulatoryImmunomodulatory and biologicBiologic therapies used in the treatmentTreatment of moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativaHidradenitis suppurativa, cutaneous vasculitis, and pyoderma gangrenosumPyoderma gangrenosum. Selection of therapy is dependent on severity of disease. There is evidence that suggests continuation of biologic therapy while pursuing surgical treatment of HS lesions is safe and efficacious. Further studies are needed on the dosing and response of JAKJanus kinases (JAKs) inhibitors for treatment of HS. Biologic therapies are indicated for relapsing pyoderma gangrenosumPyoderma gangrenosum and cutaneous vasculitis. Future studies examining biologicBiologic targets and molecules are underway and will propel treatmentsTreatment to become more targeted in nature for these inflammatoryInflammatory diseases.
