Whenever a project for a pipeline transportation system for a certain flow rate and length must be developed, the main variables to consider are the diameter, the maximum and/or minimum pressure, the distance between the compression or pumping plants and the relationship discharge pressure/suction pressure of the latter; all this is conditioned by the fluid-thermodynamic effects of the transported flow and by the mechanical resistance of the material that makes up the pipeline (Cavallo and Frabotta 2003, 2015).

摘要

Whenever a project for a pipeline transportation system for a certain flow rate and length must be developed, the main variables to consider are the diameter, the maximum and/or minimum pressure, the distance between the compression or pumping plants and the relationship discharge pressure/suction pressure of the latter; all this is conditioned by the fluid-thermodynamic effects of the transported flow and by the mechanical resistance of the material that makes up the pipeline (Cavallo and Frabotta 2003, 2015).
