The Global Burden of Disease
摘要
The Global Burden of Disease study was first published in 1996 by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The most recent global data, collected in 2019, analysed 369 diseases and injuries, and 87 risk factors in 204 countries and territories. The study estimates incidence, prevalence, mortality, years lived with disabilities (YLDs), years of life lost (YLLs) and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) from a disease. Cause of death was found using the International Classification of Diseases and Injuries (ICD). The data is globally available for the general public. The study was a collaborative effort between the WHO, the Lancet and the Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation. Data have been collected for each disease or injury using censuses, household surveys, civil registration and vital statistics, disease registries, health service use, air pollution monitors, satellite imaging, disease notifications and other sources.
