Comparison and Future Perspectives
摘要
The techno-economic assessment of H2 transport through liquefied hydrogen, ammonia, toluene and dibenzyltoluene is presented in this chapter for the given bases of design. A sensitivity analysis is performed, considering different applications of the delivered H2 (industrial and mobility sectors), different harbour-to-harbour distances and different cost of utilities and raw materials, identifying a present and a future scenario. The choice of the most cost-effective carrier is made based on the particular case under consideration. Key problems and limitations are critically identified to guide future large-scale implementation.
