ThisCounting chapter covers four systems of representing numbers: the decimal positional,Decimalpositional binary,Binary octalOctal and hexadecimalHexadecimal. The reader is probably very familiar the first system, but the last three may be new, and worthy of study. Finally, the chapter concludes with some worked examples.
