This chapter revises coordinate systems whichCartesiancoordinates include Cartesian coordinatesCoordinatesCartesian, polar, spherical polar, cylindrical and barycentric coordinate systems. It also includes the distance between two points in space, and the area of simple 2D shapes. It concludes with a collection of worked examples.
