Structures of the material cause nanomaterials to have unusual properties, different from the corresponding traditional materials with a micrometric structure. It has been shown that the chemical composition and nanostructure are the basic tools for controlling the properties of modern materials. One of the achievement presented in this chapter is the confirmation that the expectation that the large-scale implementation of nanotechnology and the increase in the efficiency of radiate energy conversion will result converting solar energy into large quantity of electricity.

摘要
