摘要

In this study, we employ the multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) method to identify the most suitable structural ceramic particles for diverse applications. The success and competitiveness of production companies in the international marketplace are heavily dependent on the selection of appropriate materials. A number of potential materials that are currently on the market are considered provisional alternatives in the laborious and costly procedure of selecting the best material for a given technical application. Many computational techniques are now available to assess, choose, and prioritize various materials for a given industrial application. This study looks at the potential and suitability of three relatively recent MCDM methods for material selection: Vlse Kriterijumska Optimizacija Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR), Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), and Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS). The alternative materials are ranked using these three techniques, taking into account multiple requirements at once. Two example scenarios are provided to illustrate the extent to which these three MCDM techniques work in solving real-time content selection problems. A list of every option, ranked from best to worst among the appropriate materials, is generated for each case.
