摘要

The three poems in this section each have connections to events, thoughts, problems, and persons involved in the history of mathematics. “Euclid’s Mime” reflects on aspects of definitions in Euclid’s Elements, “Königsberg” on Euler’s walk, and “Galois at 20” looks back on thoughts and circumstances surrounding the death of Galois.
