Imagination as Mathematics
摘要
The purpose of our chapter is to propose mathematics as creatively generative and imagination as the superordinate category of thought. We then examine if a theory of imagination can clarify the ontological status of mathematical concepts and whether mathematical creation and/or discovery are indeed facets of imagination.
