Bending the Spoon with Our Minds: Africa’s Apocalyptic Fate with Coloniality

Africa is digging herself out of the dungeon of abandonment and neglect by the international community. This has happened because the history and shadow of slavery and colonization still haunts the continent. These are the two movements that have slowed the modernization of the continent. In order to dig herself from the bottomless hole of poverty and political crisis, decolonization for the sole purpose of Africanization seems to be the anthem that every citizen on that continent needs to abide by. Failing which the dominant Western powers would still have the wherewithal to continuously subjugate this beautifully endowed continent.
