Microbial Goldmine and Organic Farming: A Key to Agricultural Production and Clean Environment

Agriculture, an ancient practice originating around 10,000 B.C. in the Middle East, laid the foundation for sustainable food production through organic farming. However, modern agricultural advancements have led to significant pollution from synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, contaminating soil, air, and water, and introducing harmful substances into the food chain. The use of heavy metal-laden irrigation water exacerbates this issue, posing severe risks to human health and ecosystem integrity. To combat these detrimental effects, traditional organic farming practices and sustainable strategies offer a promising blueprint for environmental conservation.
