Vasculitis

Vasculitis is a rare condition caused by inflammation of the blood vessels, manifesting as abnormal appearing vessels on vascular imaging. Given the broad differential, of abnormal appearing vasculature, accurately diagnosing vasculitis is challenging. This chapter reviews when to consider vasculitis, the approach to diagnostic workup, different types of vasculitides, and treatment.
