Intracranial Atherosclerosis

Intracranial atherosclerosis is considered large artery vasculopathy of intracranial vessels. It is a challenging stroke subtype, given the high risk of recurrent events. This chapter will review the diagnosis and management of intracranial atherosclerosis and summarize pivotal trials on this topic.
