Stroke Care in the Intensive Care Unit
摘要
Neurological Intensive Care Units (NICUs) provide specialized care to patients with life-threatening neurological conditions. The management of patients in NICUs is complex and requires the expertise of neurologists, APPs, neurosurgeons, critical care specialists, and other healthcare professionals. The primary goal of NICUs is to prevent further neurological injury and improve the chances of recovery. This chapter will provide an overview of stroke care in the NICU, but more in-depth reviews are found in dedicated ICU texts.
