Structural Potential of the Business Environment Development in Ukraine

The entrepreneurial sector plays a crucial role in the recovery of Ukraine's economy, driving its business activity. The development of entrepreneurship is a prerequisite for the formation of market relations and the stable and dynamic development of the economy as a whole. Effective entrepreneurship, particularly in the context of small business development, is essential for fostering economic growth and improving the well-being of the country’s population. The aim of the study is to highlight the aspects of the structured business environment in Ukraine, identifying prerequisites and reserves for increasing the activity of its components, and exploring ways to support it in a multi-vector environment, based on identifying the level of government support and potential directions for business recovery and development in the context of a state of war. A comparative structural analysis of the Ukrainian and EU countries business environments has been conducted. The limited access to borrowed funds for business activity financing remains a particularly acute problem for Ukrainian enterprises. Small and medium-sized businesses require new approaches and means to restore efficiency. Therefore, state support for small and medium-sized businesses during the period of martial law in Ukraine is especially crucial. The focus should be on the sectors available to contribute to the country's economic growth. The effectiveness of applying state support programs for entrepreneurship in Ukraine has been demonstrated. The paper consists from introduction where the relevance of the topic is emphasized, literature review, results of the research, conclusions and list of references.
