Investigating the Impact of Innovative Work Behavior of Digital Leaders on Business Sustainability in Times of Crisis: Literature Review Study

In recent years, the role of leadership has changed over time and occurs new styles like digital leadership. Digitalization has emerged as the primary factor influencing innovation, which helps the companies improve their efficiency, generating its sharing value, and survival in the market especially in times of crisis. Most current theories concerning leadership and sustainability center on the role of organizations in addressing the business challenges associated with sustainability. Leaders must respond to these challenges, environmental, social, and economical, and manage these conflicting agendas to improve and generate value in their organizations. As result of that, leads to occur a new leadership styles like digital leadership. According to this paper aims to investigate the impact of IWB leaders on business sustainability in times of crisis. This paper is based on deductive approach that uses literature review study through collected many previous studies and theoretical views by using Scopus index, google scholar and AI program of research rabbits. Finally in this context, the contribution of the study through reviewing managers’ current leadership practices to improve managerial effectiveness in practice, the study is expected to significantly contribute to the adoption of digital leadership practices with a view toward digital transformation in Telecommunication companies (Zain, Ooredoo, & Stc) as case in Kuwait in times of crisis and impact on business sustainability, while also expanding the literature on the emerging concept of digital leaders.
