A Bioeconomical Approach to Sustainability

As the climate crisis, food shortages, pandemics take over the world, a new concept has a key role and encompasses a large multidisiplinary area referred as bioeconomy. The bioeconomy enhances a way to create new solutions to complex global problems. This paper have a scope to look on the term “bioeconomy” framework. The purpose of this paper is to define the core and goal of bioeconomy as a concept and an indicator in the world. It also discusses the pathways the bioeconomy idea and the development in EU strategies. Based on literature review, this study points out the bioeconomy as a cornerstone for achieving the goals of sustainability.
