摘要
This research examines the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between financial well-being and future financial situation expectations, psychological well-being, and future anxiety. A cohort of 450 health professionals (N = 450, 78.7% females; age range = 20–60 years) employed at the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate participated in the research. The data collection process utilized an online survey, wherein participants self-reported their responses based on measures of psychological well-being, risk propensity, financial health, resilience, and future anxiety. The comprehensive analysis of the gathered data revealed that financial well-being is significantly influenced by multiple factors, including resilience, expectations regarding future financial situations, psychological well-being, and future anxiety. Notably, resilience emerged as a pivotal factor, exhibiting a substantial direct impact on both psychological well-being and future anxiety. Mediation analysis further illuminated the role of resilience by demonstrating its significant mediation in the effects of future financial situation expectations, psychological well-being, and future anxiety. These findings underscore the critical importance of resilience in shaping the financial and psychological well-being of healthcare professionals. Beyond the theoretical implications, the study delves into practical applications, offering insights that can inform interventions and support systems tailored to enhance resilience among health professionals. Additionally, the research contributes to the broader field by highlighting the interconnectedness of financial and psychological aspects in the well-being of individuals within the healthcare sector.
