Meaningful Engagement with Neurodivergent Public Work

Substantively engaging with work by neurodivergent people at all stages of research, including at the level of research questions and hypotheses, is important. Academic work increasingly incorporates neurodivergent contributions from beyond academia, including blogs, videos, podcasts, fiction, and more. However, not all engagement is created equal. This chapter addresses different forms engagement can take, ways it can go well or poorly, and gives advice on how to do it better.
