Transitions

In Chap. 12 , we define the life-cycle of careers in academia and discuss later-career and retirement and other transitions. The chapter discusses the myriad gains and losses that we encounter over our life spans and how they all can be both positive and negative. We talk about the vast opportunities that will be presented to you as your career progresses and when you may also want/need a sabbatical. The chapter discusses job changes and how coaching can facilitate your choices and optimize your success.
