Clinical Features of Retinal Disease
摘要
Patients do not present with a diagnosis. Instead, they present with a story and a variety of clinical findings. Our job as clinicians is to use this information to generate a differential diagnosis and ultimately initiate the most appropriate treatment plan. Chapter 3 introduces common and distinctive clinical features of retinal disease. The original version of “Clinical Features” was developed by Barbara Blodi, Tim Bennett, and me for Clinical Retina and published by AMA Press in 2002. Over the past two decades, the features have been revised and now include 43 clinical features and more than 300 examples of conditions that manifest them.
