Nonlinear Equations and Systems

Mathematical models of processes in technology, economics, and nature are often nonlinear. Nonlinear problems also arise in mathematics; an example of this is finding the zeros of a general function (e.g., of a high-order polynomial). As the case of polynomials shows, nonlinear equations mostly have several zeros, and often the user does not accept our tediously obtained solution and asks us to find another one.
