Twenty years have just passed since the accession of Central and Eastern European (CEE) states to the European Union (EU), although formal relations began in the late 1980s with initiatives such as the PHARE programme, designed to provide financial and technical assistance to the beneficiary states to prepare them for accession. At this point, the beginning of the Europeanization process can be established. The aim of this study is to assess the degree and trend, positive or negative, towards Europeanization of public opinion and voting behavior in the Baltic countries and the Visegrad Group (or V4). To answer the research question we will conduct a descriptive longitudinal analysis based on empirical evidence gathering post-election data from the three elections held between 2009 and 2019.
