Sleepwalking: Trajectories in Mixed-Reality Performances
摘要
In her single-author contribution, Ágnes Karolina Bakk outlines a working concept of immersion in mixed-reality performances that use VR and demonstrates that these performances use the picturesque effects of New Horror and somaesthetic design concepts in mixed-reality narrative environments to invite the audience to become active participants and experience social emotions (such as shame, intimacy, or disgust). She offers an analysis of the performance Somnai by dotdotdot (2018) and concludes that, due to the rich ecology of interfaces, the experiencer has a fixed path throughout the experience and therefore his/her sense of agency cannot be substantial.
