Schwarz’s Anatomy

This chapter reads Roberto Schwarz’s essay “Outra Capitu” [Another Capitu] from Two Girls in order to characterize the author’s interpretative strategies, dialectical argumentative moves, and stylistic choices. Rather than discussing ideas, the aim is to bring about a formal anatomy of Schwarz’s thinking and writing in such a way that it can be apprehended as passed on.
