Patient-Specific Implants and Prosthetics

Facial defects resulting from head and neck trauma and oncological resections may be addressed via several modalities. In specific situations, implant and prosthetic reconstruction may be the ideal treatment option. In this chapter, we review the current standards of care, materials, site-specific surgical techniques, benefits, and limitations of the currently available facial prosthetics and implants.
