On a Linear Regression Model for Star-Shaped Set-Valued Random Elements

TheGraña-Colubi, J.González-Rodríguez, G.Ramos-Guajardo, A.B. aim of this work is to propose a linear regression model between two random elements that take values in a particular star-shaped sets space. Random star-shaped sets will be introduced, as well as the corresponding framework to deal with them. This framework relies on a center-radial characterization, leveraging the well-established properties of Hilbert spaces. The key features of the proposed linear regression model will be analyzed.
