Conventional antibiotic development pipelines have been substantially exhausted, necessitating innovative approaches. In this systematic exploration, we will discuss how omics technologies, comprising genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics, have revolutionized the fight against AMR. These cutting-edge tools provide unique insights into the mechanisms of drug resistance, facilitating the development of innovative treatments and therapeutic methods.
