Combined Surgery with Non-Penetrating Deep Sclerectomy
摘要
In this chapter, we present the indications and technique of deep sclerectomy to treat glaucoma with or without cataract surgery and evaluate the biometric changes (astigmatism, anterior chamber depth, and axial length) with the endothelial cell loss after deep sclerectomy in comparison to trabeculectomy. Moreover, we present a special approach of planning incision in combined surgery and the indication and timing of laser goniopuncture after the deep sclerectomy to avoid an additional glaucoma surgery.
