摘要

In this study, a novel learning environment (an AR virtual material that integrates STEM teaching strategies) is developed to assist students in constructing their knowledge in a big data course for business management students. This study employs a quasi-experimental methodology and utilizes ANCOVA to examine whether there are significant differences in learning outcomes (pre-test and post-test) and learning effectiveness between the two groups. The experimental results indicate a significant difference in the post-test scores between the two groups, with the experimental group’s post-test scores being significantly higher than those of the control group. This suggests that this novel learning environment enhances students’ learning outcomes more effectively than traditional didactic teaching. Furthermore, this study explores whether there are significant differences in learning performance between the two groups through the use of a learning performance scale. The analysis results show that the experimental group’s learning performance is significantly higher than that of the control group. This suggests that this novel learning environment can significantly enhances learners’ perceptions of learning effectiveness.
