Tutor-Bot: A Question-Answering Educational Robot Based on Deep Learning

In the context of the rapidly evolving fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, educational robots have emerged as pivotal tools in augmenting traditional teaching methodologies and fostering self-directed learning among students. In this study, an educational robot named Tutor-bot is designed and developed to enhance self-directed learning by employing deep learning technologies for real-time question-answering. The development of the Tutor-bot not only aims to improve students’ learning effectiveness and motivation but also seeks to alleviate the teaching burdens of educators. Since traditional Q&A mechanisms have limitations in accuracy and responsiveness, Tutor-bot addresses the shortages by integrating deep learning and natural language processing techniques. From the systematic experimental results, this approach significantly improves the precision of question-answering, which could minimize students’ learning disruptions, thereby fostering a conducive learning environment.
