Conclusion Chapter
摘要
The concept of “Quality of Life” (QoL) has a long history but is relatively new in the field of addiction. Given the traditional focus on objective outcome measures and abstinence, QoL was introduced as an alternative and subjective indicator of change during and after treatment, primarily in opioid substitution treatment. The emergence of the addiction recovery movement further emphasized the need for looking beyond abstinence and health outcomes and embraced a holistic approach including a focus on well-being, social participation, and QoL.
