摘要

The current state of pneumatic transport for bulk materials and its types are described, indicating their main disadvantages. The development of pneumatic transport follows the path of increasing the concentration of solids in the gas flow. The limiting case of such development is pneumatic transport in an inhibited dense layer. This type of pneumatic transport is characterized by an extremely low speed of movement of the solid phase and porosity is only 10% higher than in a fixed layer. The authors show that pneumatic transport with an inhibited dense layer (IDL) can solve many problems that modern transport pipeline systems of bulk materials encounter. The article describes the structures of IDL pneumatic transport alongside with its main advantages and disadvantages. Recommendations for its industrial use are given.
