Structural and Parametric Analysis and Synthesis of the Shaping System for Wheel Dressing of a Face Grinding Machine

摘要

A method and model for grinding wheel dressing with a geometric modification of the working surface profile are described. The methodology and results of experiments for determining the shape of the technological space during the high-precision grinding of workpieces are presented. It is shown that the shape of the grinding wheel end surface is close to parabolic. This modification provides an increase in the efficiency of double-sided face grinding. An analytical and technical solution to the problem of making a mathematical model and a device that provides the formation of the initial GW generating flat as a paraboloid of revolution with a given profile convexity is presented. The geometric shape of the grinding wheel after dressing, depending on the setting angles of the dressing device and the trajectory of the tip are analyzed. A method for synthesizing the parameters of the dressing device angular setting is described, based on the required convexity of the generating flat of the grinding wheel. A description of the patented dressing device is given.
