The adaptation of dispersion analysis in the development of a method for determining wear elements in diesel oil is carried out in order to increase the sensitivity, accuracy and efficiency of the process of determining and analyzing wear. Adaptation in this context is an indicator of successful optimization of the method for determining wear elements in diesel oil. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the procedure for the implementation of dispersion analysis in the development of a method for determining wear elements in diesel oil to improve the measurements quality. Methods of dispersion analysis to assess the variability of measurements in the development, validation and verification of methods for performing wear measurements in diesel oil. Originality consists in the decision in solving the task of developing priority validation criteria for methodologies for performing wear measurements in diesel oil based on dispersion analysis in the plane of improving the measurements quality. The methodological techniques in the study of wear elements in diesel oil are analyzed. The adaptation of the use of dispersion analysis in the development of a methodology for determining wear elements in diesel oil in the plane of improving the measurements quality is justified. Practical Relevance. The results obtained make it possible to apply when determining the pre-failure condition of a diesel engine, which can lead to the prevention of malfunctions, increase the service life of parts, and save resources.
