Simulation and Experimental Research Aimed at Forecasting Internal Noise When Driving a Vehicle on Special-Type Roads
摘要
The paper presents a developed calculation and experimental method to research and study the internal noise in a vehicle passenger compartment while driving on special-type roads through multidisciplinary simulation of sound pressure. MBS and FE models of a luxury class vehicle were developed. Simulation have been conducted to determine the forces arising in the suspension guiding device, in the powertrain and transmission attachment points of the vehicle when driving on special types of roads. Based on the MBS simulation results, simulations of the vehicle internal noise have been conducted. The results of simulations and experimental research of sound pressures at the left ear of the rear right passenger are given. To verify the simulation research, accelerations in the powertrain attachment points have been defined experimentally. The experimental values of the accelerations were used for simulation of the internal noise. The developed procedure allows predicting internal noise at the early stages of vehicle development.
