Method of Improvement of Vehicle Vibroacoustic (NVH) Comfort When Crossing Single Irregularities

摘要

A growing trend of the increased customer's requirements to vehicle comfort and vibration load encourages vehicle manufacturers to improve vehicle vibroacoustic (NVH) comfort assessment and provision practices. The practice of using mathematical modeling methods is being actively applied in the area of vehicle comfort issue solutions. This paper addresses vehicle NVH comfort improvement achieved by means of reducing local dynamic forces and residual oscillations in the suspension modules to the body attachment points during vehicle driving across single bumps. The procedure of improving NVH comfort during vehicle driving across single bumps is a delicate and labor-intensive process, which is not explicitly described in the known literature sources. Therefore, the work relevance and importance consist in the description of development and application of the method for the improvement of NVH comfort during vehicle driving across single bumps allowing the definition of a necessary procedure for selecting the hydraulic properties of vehicle suspension mounts and assessment criteria for mount performance at the stage of computer simulation (mathematical modeling) study.
