Designing a Construction 3-D Printer and Choosing a Kinematic Scheme for Moving the Printhead

摘要

Currently, much attention is being paid to developments in the field of rapid prototyping technologies. They are based on the technical realization of the possibility of creating a real object based on its digital model. To do this, using automated mechanisms and control computer programs, a layered reproduction of a digital 3D model in the form of a building product is performed, taking into account the scale. In this regard, the development of a construction 3D printer for creating small architectural forms is of great interest. The article discusses 3-D printers used in the construction industry. Based on the conducted research, a scheme of a universal 3D printer for printing products from building mixes is proposed. The stages of designing a universal 3D printer for printing products from building mixes are described: the results of the dependence of the nozzle size and the output of the building mass are presented. The kinematic scheme of the projected printer is presented, its main characteristics are considered.
