Perioperative Hemodynamic and Hemostasis Management
摘要
Endocarditis patients present a wide array of hemodynamic and hemostatic challenges in the operating room. The addition of a septic or infectious element to the perioperative cardiac surgical arena increases the risk of vasoplegia, low cardiac output syndrome, coagulopathy, and bleeding. This chapter presents the unique aspects and intraoperative management strategies of endocarditis patients presenting for cardiac surgery.
